“Pre911/Twin Towers Once Stood”

The 10th anniversary of the tragic event of 911 in New York City that stole many precious lives and also granted security among New Yorkers is nearing with much of evaporating emotions in layers of sorrows, pain and hope for healing. Three years ago, SB D Gallery curated and directed the first exhibition that stopped the life of Twin Towers as of September 10th, 2001, in effort to heal from the wound by bringing back the happy memories of Twin Towers before the terror.

“Mind the Gap” by Sun Mu from North Korea

Exhibition Venue: SB D Gallery, 125 East 4th Street, New York, NY 10003 Exhibition Date: July 16 – August 20 2011 Opening Reception: July 16 2011 from 5-8pm -- Sun Mu, North Korean Artist who escaped from North Korea to China, Vietnam, Laos then finally to South Korea, will be presented his paintings to New York City for the first time in history. Sun Mu’s work has been widely reported by BBC, Time magazine, New York Times, Financial Times and international press when he attended at art college in South Korea last 3 years.

“Pretty Dictators Vs. Pretty Leaders” by Ha Lee on April 30th, 2011

Ha Lee believes no human being is born as a dictator but only raised as one. In the end, all human beings are ‘pretty’ for who they are.
