“Runaway Moon” by Minette Lee Mangahas at SB D Gallery in East Village, NYC
Opening reception: January 16, 2010, from 5 to 8 pm
SB D Gallery, 125 East 4th Street, New York, NY 10003
“Much of my work is about MOVEMENT, and the tension and attraction of difference.
It’s about the freedom that can come from embracing what is born in-between, what we do not know, and sometimes what we fear.
Runaway Moon is about fear, but it is also about the journey that we take towards facing our fear.
It is about running, but it is also about grace and about discovery.
What does it truly take to become free?”
