“Second Chance” by Chang W. Lee, the senior photographer at the New York TImes, at SB D Gallery from April 17 until May 19, 2010.
“Second Chance” is a multimedia project, researched and produced by Chang W. Lee, the New York Times’ senior photographer. Mr. Lee followed 6 individuals who are taking their second chances to pursue their dreams against struggles and obstacles in life.
“For some of those profiled, it is their first true chance,” Mr. Chang W. Lee said. “For others, their last chance. Essentially, though, these second-chance stories are portraits of one individual’s struggle and triumph.”
“Mr. Lee takes his passion for strong storytelling and lyrical visual composition and channels them into a new kind of visual narrative” says James Estrin at The New York Times.
